KILLED: THE KILLERS CONCERT IN MANILA

A week to go before I finally, finally watch The Killers live, news got around that the show will be cancelled.  Boo. 

So I did my research and yes, confeeeermed that my dancepunk fantasies will be put on hold. From their official website (www.thekillersmusic.com):

“It is with great regret that The Killers have been forced to cancel their upcoming appearances in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul due to unforeseen circumstances involving a serious illness of a close family member. The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hopes to reschedule their shows in these cities soon, we hope you understand and respect our privacy at this difficult time. At this time, the band’s Australian appearances remain scheduled as planned.”

Sad but true.  I was about to revisit my Hot Fuss album and reminisce listening to Mr. Brightside and On Top but so as not to further worsen my agony, I dared not to.

Oh yeah, if you want to refund your tickets (well, I was about to get mine from my generous benefactor, Jei for free hehe), here are the details from Saga Events:

• For Ticketnet buyers, you may refund at the Ticketnet in Araneta Coliseum starting JAN 29 FRIDAY. Call 9115555.

• For Ticketworld buyers, you may refund at the Ticketworld Head Office in Makati (7/F Vicente Madrigal Bldg, Ayala, Makati) starting JAN 25 MONDAY. Call 8919999.

• For Odyssey & O Music buyers, you should refund at the branch where you purchased your tickets. Refunding begins on JAN 29 FRIDAY.

• For purchases made in our Jupiter Makati and Shaw Mandaluyong offices, refunding begins on JAN 29 FRIDAY.

• For purchases made through our authorized individual/corporate resellers, please contact your resellers for refund information.

I guess it’s better luck next time for us! Let’s just look into the “Brightside”. Hahahaha.
